The Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) project team were awarded a plaque of recognition for their research paper adjudged as Best Paper (Development Category) at the National Symposium on Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (NSAARRD) 2020.
BPSU Vice President for Research, Extension and Training Services and Project leader Dr. Hermogenes Paguia and his team were given recognition for their research project, “Improvement of Mango Production through Science and Technology Innovations and Support Mechanisms for Capacity Development in Bataan and Zambales”.
BPSU President Dr. Gregorio Rodis was also awarded plaque of recognition.
Other BPSU personnel and project members awarded were Dr. Rina Paguia (Study Leader), Cherrilyn Ventura (Study Leader), Rowena Valerio (Study Leader), Maricel Javier, Lorna Roldan, Randy Gaquit, Roel Morales, Janice Baysa, and Ferdinand Domingo.
Central Luzon Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research and Development Consortium (CLAARRDEC) awarded the plaques virtually on Wednesday during the 32nd Regional Symposium on Research and Development Highlights hosted by Department of Agriculture and Philippine Carabao Center.
PCAARRD Executive Director Dr. Reynaldo Ebora was the keynote speaker of the symposium.
The BPSU paper was entered to compete at NSAARRD when it was awarded regional champion Development Category in CLAARRDEC Best Research and Development Paper Awards 2019.
